I have a friend who owns one and it's their favourite out of all their AEGs. They did a bit of work on it (gears, etc.) and now it outshoots most peoples AEGs.

Personally I'd love to have one, but can't afford one :p It's a pretty unique AEG too and with a bullpup design it'll have good accuracy and range(my AUG A2 can do pretty well at distance).

I have one and absolutely love mine... one of my top shooters.
For hop work, no. Basically you have to pop the gearbox, which isnt too hard, and work the hopup unit with it attached to it. (the hopup is external to the gearbox so you dont need to touch that)

Only work i did on mine was adding a new tightbore and hop rubber because im annoyingly silly like that, and love my accuracy.

The gun in stock form was lovely, infact, i have a review up in the review section if you search for it? produced when the tar-21 first came out.
