Hi, myself and 2 others formed a band in February. We are writing our own songs and have all been in different bands. So far we have a vocalist and two guitarists and were jamming with a bassist last week. As far as influences go there's a lot:

The singer is into pop and indie and some old female singers from the 70s.
The other guitarist is into rock, pop, blues, indie, dance, flamenco and more.
I (one of two guitars) am into rock, blues, rockabilly, jazz, funk, some indie, bit of country, bit of punk and a bit of electro.

Our plan is to play electric as a full band and the three of us have some songs we're gonna keep as semi acoustic without drums and bass as they're already written that way.

We're aged 20/21 and twice a week usually.

If you're a good drummer and are up for it then drop me an email. We are going to keep writing songs till mid Summer and start playing full sets. At the moment its small sets but we've been offered some nice gigs like at the Academy which was gonna be our first one together. We already have a manager.

Anyway, send me your influences and a bit about yourself to docooney@hotmail.com if you're interested. We won't be organising a jam with a drummer until end of June though.

Also, you have to be innovative and hopefully have a mixed taste. Oh yeah and we usually have a few beers every week or two at a jam. In fact, you can do what you like at the jams just once you play well and are up for a laugh. And it's cool if you're a prick, once you're not a drama queen.
