    I have every privacy option set to private 'friends' or only me.
    Still my profile comes up when people enter my hotmail.

    Anyone know how to change it?!

    Apparently it's not possible. What some people do is make up a new e-mail and use it for Facebook only.

    You can control people being able to search for you via the search box.

    The FB approach seems to be that if you know somebody's e-mail then you have a connection to them already.
