Pffffft you don't know what you're talking about! There was nothing fake about that deal, and this one is a real deal too.

Anyway, I spent a good while looking up reviews for this device last night as i'm tempted. But i don't know if it's that big a step up from my Nokia N900. I may just wait a while until the Galaxy S2 comes down in price!

Cheers for the heads up Basq.

First question - are you amazon's employee?
Pffffft you don't know what you're talking about!

So please explain me what's happened??
There was nothing fake about that deal, and this one is a real deal too.

Do website with staff for sale, adverts and banners, then put £200 iPhone4 on it to generate high traffic on that www (you can send few "bargain alerts" on forums like that). Soon you get enough money from adverts to send 10-20 £200 iPhones to few lucky guys. Then inform others that you despatch in 2-3 weeks, then wait and collect money from traffic on you www. Then after 3 weeks send email with cancellation to all loosers. Then you're rich!

Or maybe I am wrong and amazon is just not organised and experienced enough to sell stuff by internet??

Im the opposite. I use the keyboard for everything. Partly because popping out the keyboard automatically makes it go horizontal, so even if I am not typing, I pop out the keyboard for web browsing, as the websites in widescreen look much better, particularly if I am in bed lying on my side and want to read the text horizontally, but my position in bed confuses the gimble, so it would normally display the site vertically. Confused yet?

Also, in a moving vehicle, the touch screen is still terrible. Better than it was in the past, but still bad. Pecking out a quick text when the phone is bouncing up and down is not doable. But you can pop out the keyboard and lo, type out the message very quickly.

Yeah i'd be the same.. popping open the keyboard and just start typing means i can access any app on the phone or search the web instantly. It fantastic. Highly customisable phone too..Only downside might be the added weight of the keyboard but I find it perfectly fine.

Are you serious ? , What Planet are you on ? ,They are by far the largest online retailer in world. I have been buying from them since 1998 and they set the benchmark all other etailer's can only dream of reaching.

keyboard is great especially when used with psx\nes\etc emluators. No need for onscreen virtual keypad, just map all keys to the keyboard allowing you to enjoy unobstruced fullscreen gaming

I meant that they use dirty tricks to rise the traffic on their www. I just can,t believe that experienced retailers (amazon + orange) do things like that NOT BY PURPOSE. But I might be wrong and MAYBE that's just their mistake, which mean they are not experienced enough.

It's Amazon - probably the biggest online retailer in their world. I think they've more pressing things on their mind that getting the traffic up on their website! :D

To be fair.. it simply sounds to me like a case of unforeseen demand.

I've bought probably 80 - 100 items from them over the past couple of years and not once have they let me down.

Of course - you could play the "dirty tricks" card if you makes you feel better but they don't have a history of this carry on. So if it happened more often, I might be more inclined to reconsider you view.
