Water pooling in Philips Fridge Freezer

We have a Philips Whirlpool Fridge Freezer-it's around 5 years old. We have started seeing water pooling in the bottom of the fridge.

In addition, we find the freezer very icy, even though it's not meant to need defrosting, we find the need to scrape ice away every so often.

The fridge temp is set at 2c and the freezer at -18c.

Any idea if these are faults or do we just need to adjust the temperatures?

There is often a drain hole at the back of the fridge compartment that drains condensation through a pipe to a tray above the motor where it is evaporated by the heat it gives off. These can block up, often with a slime mold growing.

You could try plumbing it with a length of strimmer line.

    I would try 3 C.
