    Hi,

I am looking to trade in my car against another one.

Unfortunately, i've lost my reg book/cert.

When i went to look for info on replacing it, i came across the replacement charges below:

    Document Replacement cost

    Tax disc €6
    Registration book/certificate €12
    Vehicle licensing certificate €12

Does anyone know what the difference between a reg cert and a vehicle licensing cert is?

Also, do i need to get both certs to allow the car to be accepted by a garage as part of a trade in?

    Thanks

Vehicle Reg cert (VRC) replaced the VLC awhile back. Before hand there used to be 2 separate documents which are now combined into the one document.

Just get a replacement VRC and all will be well.
