what video application is the best to start making my first short film

    Hi every one,

    all sugesstion are very welcome



    I have had various film students say to start with Avid, becuase its the industry standard, then another final cut, then another sont vegas. Now i pritty much confused. could some one please enlighten me as to which is the best and most user friendly. that could help me use my skills and practice so i could start!!!

    Final Cut Pro is Mac OS X only so if you don't own a Mac your can strike that one off your list.

    thanks;) yup I wont be using final cut lol forgot to say i only have a pc.

    Sony Vegas is the easiest and most user friendly to start with. I'd go with that.

    Premier and Avid have some steep learning curves if you haven't done much editing before.
