Suggestions for 2nd Family Car/SUV

My partner is about looking to buy a new car (Read: Has given me the job of buying her new car). She's only looking to spend around €2500

She's interested in some kind of jeep or SUV type thing. I found a nice 2001 Hyundai Sante Fe for €1850 in our area - only problem is that it's 2litres, and she doesn't want anything bigger than 1.8 (1.4 or 1.6 ideally)

    Any suggestions?

Not too many SUV's around with so small engine.

    Here is one anyway: http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2115328

Edit: Not actually SUV - MPV maybe???

Yeah, I know - they're few and far between with smaller engines. I was trying to sway her towards a freelander 1.8 but she doesn't like them.
That's a nice scenic - i know she's not a fan of the old model but she might like that. Thanks but43r

    Honda hrv or grand vitara.
Both will be heavy on juice compared to a normal car.
