We have had the Royal wedding, and Ralph Lauren seems to be the fashion and Gossip Girl is going into it's 5 session

Being Posh seems to be a new thread that has taken off, And another posh program starts Monday

Posh is and has always been the fashion that the commonors aspire to. It trickles down, eventually

Or it's E4 capitalising on a passing fad of tabloid-consuming "commoners". Honestly, exactly how many "posh" celebrities read Hello magazine?

    Posh birds are sexy.

That bird yer man off the Royal Family married looks like she could suck an apple through a letterbox, then make high tea & crumpets for all the family as if butter wouldn't melt off her tush.

Really? I dislike some types of posh fashion. Sloaney style for example. Bleurgh.

Nothing wrong with being posh though, as long as you're sound!

I think people just love these 'posh' programs on TV to get an insight on what it's like to be posh and if they fit the stereotype etc., mind you I didn't even watch that trailer.

Grew up in a four bed detached, not a farmer, DEFINITELY not posh.

    Your theory is flawed! :)

Judging by the trailer, it makes Fade Street looks like a serious contender for the Emmys. A show featuring pretentious assholes being nasty and two-faced to each other - how original.

I think I'll be giving this televisual trash a wide berth.

Using the word Posh seems to be in fashion.

Then again this comes from a country where Posh Spice is considered Posh.

Reminds me of all the culchies who put on a D4 accent, quit aspiring to be something you can't ever be.

    Pygmalion tbh.

Sloaney birds are usually hot, but I'm filled with a mixture of rage and desire when I look at them. Made in Chelsea makes me want to join Al Queda though.

People in Ireland get so confused between people who are 'posh' and people who are 'wealthy'

Just because you have money does not mean you are posh.

She wasn't exactly living in squalor though... I get ya, sure I grew up in Portmarnock North Co. Dublin, plenty of people living beyond their means just to keep up with the Jones's out there! They're reaping the benefits now!!!
