    Well basically I got HPV anal warts a few months ago and got them treated. Had to have 3 surgeries to get them removed. I done a stupid thing last night and met up with a friend and had unprotected anal sex. I'm really worried that their going to come back! I feel so so stupid. I should have learned from my mistakes. I have been keeping fit going to the gym to keep a healthy immune system. Has anyone done anything stupid like this before. I wish I had self control :(:(

    Is HPV not very contagious? If it is, you should tell your friend immediately to get checked, as if they are contagious you might have spread the condition to him. Apologies if I am getting the condition mixed up with another one.
    Is alcohol/drugs a factor when you have unprotected sex? If so all I can suggest is cutting back on it, if it causes you to make rash decisions.
    If it's not a factor, I dunno I guess just try your best to always have a few condoms in your wallet incase they are needed.
    Get yourself rechecked, and inform your friend to do so aswell.

    He knows I have HPV and he gets himself checked. Yes we were both drunk when it happened. I feel so stupid. I made such a big mistake!!

    I'm definitely going to start cutting back on my drink! I'm more annoyed with myself being so stupid than anything. Thanks for the comments
