Chromium no longer supported in Web Store?

I've always used Chromium on Ubuntu, rather than the Google branded Chrome, only recently (perhaps since the update to version 11) the Google Web Store tells me that my browser is not supported.

Used to work fine and I've got plenty of plugins and 'apps' still installed in Chromium, I just can't get any more or update the ones I have.

Anyone else experiencing this all-of-a-sudden? Anyone know how to get it working again? I'm suspicious of a ploy by Google to get me using the Google branded and tracked version -- but it's essentially the same browser so unless they've actually changed something fundamental it *should* work, as it has in the past.

I would assume(/hope) it's an error on their part, since most distros don't have access to the branded version.

In the meantime you can try changing your user-agent?
I think launching chromium with --useragent="Whatever the actual Chrome user agent should be" should work.
