I am having a weird issue with lightroom....

I tried out applying a creative preset (b+w high contrast) to a set of images I was importing the other day...

Now LR is applying this preset to every image, including exported psd's....

I have it switched off in the import panel (set to none) but even if I import from disk it is applying teh preset to all files, not just raw's....

it's driving me batty, and I can't find a solution anywhere....

Open any image at all in the Develop module. Hold down the alt key. The Reset button (bottom right) will change to Set Default... Click on Set Default... and a box will pop up. Click on the lefthand button - Restore Adobe Default Settings.

    ah...

I thought that was for the camera default settings on import: it aplies to all images?

I'll give that a go thanks!

    hmmm...

that appears to be camera specific.... also it refers to negative settings when I'm selecting a psd which was output by LR...

thats where my big issue with it lies, if I export an image from RAW to PSD and set LR to import to catalog in the dialog box, it applies B+W High Contrast to the exported image when it imports it to the catalog...!!!
