Thinking of transferring

    Hi guys ;),
    I'm thinking of transferring to 2nd year arts (international BA), and I have a few questions.

    1. Languages in NUIG- can anyone give me any insight as to what the language department like... Is German difficult? French? Is there any extra help if you need it?

    2. I'd be living with family and transferring to a 2nd year of a course, so would it be hard for me to make friends? What are the clubs and socs like?

    3. If you fail modules, there is an opportunity to repeat them in the Summer, right? is there a limit on how many modules you can fail/repeat?

    4. I'd be paying full fees (€5800 I believe). Is there an opportunity to pay for one semester at a time or would I have to fork over all the money straight away?

    Umm.... any other advice or info regarding transferring and Arts would be appreciated. Convince me why I should transfer... :D
