Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, and I know in an ideal world you wouldn't start from here.
I have recently purchased a Roberts portable Dab Rx and would like to connect it via an Fm Tx to the Bose in car Fm radio, not very pure I know?
All works fine RTE and BBC Muxs in S.Down.
I would like to improve the aerial end by connecting a decent dipole type full wave aerial, but no socket on the Roberts, just the telescopic. At this stage I don't think I would complicate things with an amp,as I have gone down that route before with an in car proper Dab car radio.
The only connection to the radio would be via the telescopic,as I don't think getting inside its tiny case would be a good idea.
Would be glad of any helpful suggestions.

Seems to be an improvement on telescopic by using a Log periodic (£14),and splitting the audio out/headphone socket feed to the Fm Tx.Just left it lying in the back shelf for now.
Bit concerned that a balun would perhaps help with impedence matching ,or am I dancing on the head of a pin?Anyway good to talk to myself.
