    just a quick one , iam getting my self build up and running , i have 3 opes which i was wondering do i need rsj,s or katnicks, the ope sizes are 3.2 m, and 2.4,

    Its a structural question, therefore you need to engage a structural engineer. Every situation is different, so even if we could comment, we can't without seeing the overall situation.

    Its against the forum rules to give such advice here anyway.

    Does your engineer have an opinion? If not ask him..:D Alternatively, ask the Catnic manufacturer what their specific loading tables are for specific opes and associated lintols.

    To my knowledge the max span for a standard lintol is 2.4m with min 200mm bedding, after that rsj, but I am Not an Engineer;)
