CAO help!

i applied for my cao about 2 weeks ago online where i paid the 60 euro, was just reading through my emails there and im a bit confused.

am i suppose to send my fetac results and proof of other acheivments to the cao by post aswell?

i gave them my fetac exam number and leaving cert exam number so surely i dont have to post results do i?

yes. they want copies of all your results, which they then forward to the institutions you applied to. they expect you to do the legwork. among other things it shows you ain't lazy and are prepared for the hard slog ahead of you!:rolleyes:

im 22 do i have to post my fetac and my leaving cert? iv lost my leaving cert results years ago and iv done other quailifications i have down on my cao too that i cant find...:eek:

i taught the exams numbers were good enough what a joke, will this cost me a place now considering the date for snding them off was a few weeks ago?

unfortunately i am serious. if you look at your online application it says at the top make sure to send copies to the cao.

i am not sure if it will completely cost you your place, but it might go againt you because they have nothing to send on to the colleges you applied to. and i am assuming you are going through the lc/fetac entrance route, as you are not quite old enough for mature student applications.

with respect to your lc results, most secondary schools keep them on file, so if you contact them you should be able to get a copy. if you manage to get it fire it off to the cao asap. better they get it majorly late than never at all.

i think you can also ring fetac, with your pps number and get copies of your certs sent to you (although i may be wrong there).

what a joke, the cao is a money racket they feel like they dont have to answer the phone too, id say id have a better chance getting through to barack obama in the white house.

i would of been better of applying to the colleges directly myself because i really dont see what the cao do that i cant.

right so 2mro im of down to my old school and college to get the results but im going to have a hard time getting one other qualification i need, the army has it after i applied for a position there.

believe me been there sort of. failte ireland fckd me over so i am a couple yrs late starting the course i was supposed too.
