If you have no other key it's a main dealer job and will be expensive. First you'll need to contact the dealers about getting a key cut from chassis number, then you'll have to get the car to the dealership to get the new key coded ( car won't start unless it's coded)

    All in I'd imagine
New key : 90 ish each and you'll prob want 2 in case you loose it again :)
    Tow to garage: 100 approx
Coding: anything from 50-150 will be the same price for two keys coded so may as well get 2 done at the same time

I'd look a bit longer before you fork out for a new key/s

This happend to me not long ago, its not a nice thing to experience:( lost my keys and didnt have a spare.

I had a peugot 206, had to go to the main dealer, they agreed to call out with the new key and he coded it there and then for €120, which wasnt as bad as i was expecting.

Worth trying lock doctor or one of those. Many of them do call outs !

if you think you might have lost them near your house would you consider changing the locks too?
all you need is some scrote to find the key in the grass and walk up and down the road trying the central locking button...

    Thanks for the info folks!

LockTec cut the new keys, program and at my place for 150 euros. In fairness Ashley ford said new key + programming cost 85 euro's just need to tow the car there with my cost. Anyhow now time for house locks change and plus spare key (lesson learned)

    Ta,

Always have 3 keys for a Ford. That way if you loose one, you can programme additional ones without a visit to a dealer (you need two keys to programme additional spares, and the instructions to do it are in the manual)
