Ipod Classic not Turning On?

    Hey,

    Iv a Ipod Classic 120GB Version...And Im a Dj so this is my handiest device..

    One evening i went to turn it on and got nothing..the screen stayed blank..Tried connecting to my laptop and nothing..wouldnt connect..

    Then i was told to reset it and tried that and light came on for about 2 seconds but went off again and tried several times again since and was getting no where..

    Im guessing something is wrong with software..could be wrong but Dunno how to fix it and really need as i have gigs coming up:confused:

    Any Suggestion appreciated :)
