South Dublin City Heli Pad ?

    Hi, does anyone know of a Heli Pad or Hotel with big enough Garden in our around the south of the city ?
    Need to know asap thanks for a trip this saturday. Cheers
    Its only for a small machine, MD500E.

    Would a chopper landing there be permitted?

    Herbert Park is after all a public park with football pitches/kids playgrounds etc.

    extremely dubious about herbert park. leopardstown a common landing spot, dublin docks (not sure where exactly) also an option. citywest accessible too.

    Just out of curiousity - How did you get on?

    Were any of our suggestions any use ?

    Ended up using druid glen (taxi then into Killiney).
    Talk about a fun flight up and down, Had a small breeeeeeze on my side each way bumping me about :pac:

    For future references Fitzpatricks Castle Hotel in Killiney take the odd chopper afair.
