    Hi,

I've been attending a gynocological consultant at the Rotunda as a public patient. However I am not 100% happy and am interested in getting a second opinion from a private consultant. Has anyone any idea how much this is likely to cost?

Have tried checking google but as yet havent found any thing.

Would very much appreciate if anyone can help me..

    Thanks

Private one would generally cost between €150 and €200 per consult.

From reading other threads on here Consultant Fees vary from €150 to €230 depending where in the Country you are.

£80 to £100 pound up north.

previous posters are correct, anything from 120 euros to 220, but also bear in mind that the private consultant may want to order tests ie bloods or ultrasounds etc, these would normally be free but going privately means you will most likely be charged for them. So after you have selected whatever consultant you want to go to, ring their private secretary and ask about the additional charges.

I pay 180 for my consultant. when I need bloods done I get them done via my GP, collect the results and bring them with me to the appointment.
