Only use water based paints in it and wash it well straight after use. Friend put emulsion in his one and it destroyed it. went rock hard on him. enjoy your DIY!:D

Isn't emulsion water based???On the off chance that it should go hard is there any way it can be used again???

Very sorry, my mistake. was too quick to post there. Thank god Im not a painter! I asked the guy and he apparently used a non water based paint in it. couldnt wash it out, threw it in the shed and it went rock hard on him. If you ware worried about it drying up then maybe use a small amount if you are only painting a small area and then once you have covered the area just keep running water though it. If it does dry up you could always try rolling it on something hard to break the paint into finer particles and then rinse and repeat. might help abit. I would try not let that happen though. Ive never used this so cant really offer too much advice. Again sorry for the error.
