Dropped Iphone 3gs...Not being recognised

    Hi everyone...Dropped my iphone last night and when picked it up it was completly gone. No damage on outside just wouldnt start up. So came home plugged it in and it came on but it just has a picture of the cable and says connect to itunes as if theres no sim card in it. Have tried taking in and out the simcard but no luck. When i plug it into the laptop it doesnt show any sign of connecting. Completly black screen. Also cannot turn it on but when its plugged in it automatically turns on as usual but is stuck on that screen. All I can do is make emergency calls which is useless obviously...Any advice?

    Indeed she is...Must put up proper pics of it as it doesnt do it justice..Gonna get it extended to a full sleeve over the summer

    That other comment was for a different thread haha.....Regarding the sim reader do you know if its expensive to get fixed? It wont turn on if its not plugged in unless I do a hard reset and then it only shows the apple logo and switches off again
