Figuring what will suit me??

Hey guys, just looking for advice on clothes that would suit my figure, I really like the lacy, flowy girly stuff you see about in places like Topshop/Urban Outfitters etc I love the style and the materials and the whole look. I absolutely love the style of women like Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller and that, the thing is, my body shape is not at all suited to those clothes!! Or at least I don't think it is, I have a definite hourglass figure and my boobs are relatively big so all the lovely high necked, flowy tops and dresses I love look ridiculous on me :(:( I know the structured 50's-look does suit me, and it's a look I like, but quite a bit effort and the clothes are a bit structured for my taste.

Basically I was wondering Can anyone recommend what's the best way for me to go about carrying off the more lacy, flowy girly look that would suit and flatter my figure better so I don't end up looking like I'm recovering from particularly swollen breast surgery???:o

I'm in a similar boat, I try to go for the kind of loose, but supposed to be loose, relatively low scoop neck tops with a pair of jeans or leggings. You can get that style of top in loads of prints and colours and for me it's pretty flattering as it hides my awful tummy and I can show off my legs then :)

That's the shape of top I'm talking about.
Maybe something like that would be nice? It wouldn't be suffocating you but is still floral and pretty and you could wear it with loads of different things! Ill keep an eye out for other stuff when I'm shopping ;)

Ooh that;s very pretty, I do like that sort of top! Maybe I should invest in a few nice belts or something, tops like that tend to hang straight down from my boobs and make me look much bigger than I am, I wouldn't want to ruin the top/dress though, that's the only thing...

Ah yes, I see what you mean! Skinny belts are good for giving you a bit of definition without taking away from the niceness of the top/being too much with a patterned top. Loads of them in Penneys, New Look, everywhere really :p
