Just a thought here lads, have any of ye tried your local recycling centre ?

These fridges( coke fridges, fridge freezers etc) get handed in free of charge every day.
Of course you cant be sure if they are working properly but even if they aren't you just bring them back and you won't be charged( the recycling centre is obliged to take them free under the WEEE regulations)

    As I say,just a thought.

actually these coke fridges etc are classed as commercial waste and you are actually charged for there disposal ,i found out the hard way a couple of years ago when i got a double drinks fridge for free ,just take it away he said working fine ,got it home and sure as eggs it was broke :rolleyes:gas gone and condenser f***ed ....so beware if it looks to good to be true it will always cost you money :D:D

    Ian,you are right.
They are classed as commecial waste and I have done a bit of checking in relation to whether they turn up in recycling centres.
Checked in 3 counties and they do turn up but they are generally not working so I will change my advice -avoid Civic Amenity Centres like the plague.

    Sorry for misleading ye earlier:)
