NCT - Book Central Locking

    Hi Guys

    Have an NCT tomorrow which I forgot completely about. The central locking/electronic mechanism for opening the boot is on the blink. It can be opened manually with the key however.

    Will I get done for this? Or is it sufficient that it can be opened with the key? I don't see why it shouldn't be ok but you never know!

    From the NCT manual
    Check that the bonnet and boot lid catches are operating properly. In the case of front opening bonnets, ensure that the safety
    catch is fitted and operating properly.

    So as long as the actual catch mechanism isn't broken (ie. works with the key) it should be fine.

    Yeah the catch is fine.

    Anyway It'll be a miracle if it passes but I don't want if failing on something stupid just in case it manages to scrape through somehow!
