Rolling in the foam

    Apologies if this is either (A) a gear question or (B) disallowed for charter reasons, but

    - I've just gotten a foam roller
    - I've taken up various undignified positions and rolled around
    - all of it hurts

    Is the basic idea to just roll it under various muscle groups, and go back and forth over sore points, like a DIY massage?

    Tips and tricks?
