I usually play 14 pool, 15 gas, 20 warren, against Protoss. In this build I try to containt them in their base, and starve them of suplies with speedlings.

The problem with this build is its speed, I once came across a guy that had 4 photon cannons on his natural, nulifying my roaches, and leaving me behind on tech.

Is there any other build that someone could recommend for me to gain an early advantage. (Besides 6 pooling or 10 pooling)

I'm assuming your build isn't off 1 base? Vs. Toss you should be playing as economic as possible, if you don't plan on attacking them you should be trying to get by with as little units as possible and keeping tabs on their army to see when they move out to respond with building alot of units.

Drone up, always try be at least 1 base ahead with the aim of going like from like roach/corruptor into broodlord/infestor in the late game. If you're not used to the timings of when they move out using this style you will give away alot of 'free wins' where you droned too much and got caught out but in the long run you'll become a way better player. If they go forge first you can try roach/hydra drops too.

Only once you master a standard play style should you look at specific aggression builds in my opinion, since they're generally very very cheesey and won't do anything for you other than earn you some points. This is all my opinion from a protoss perspective and I know they aren't proper 'build this at X supply' but I don't really believe in builds being so set in stone, more about figuring when you need what vs. whatever they're making.

I know I should be thinking more Macro. (14 pool 15 Hatch) but my macro is erratic at best, I just want to get out of the Bronze League.
Its all cheese, and whoever is better at the cheese, wins.

In the past 2 days these are the strats that have been used against me:
T: Spam Marines (most common), SCV rush.
P: Spam Zealots, Spam Stalkers, Spam Photon Cannons and tech up to Carriers quickly.
Z: 6 pool, 10 pool, 5 roach. I was even drone rushed once, it failed miserably.

Once you can beat those strategies with a normal build you'll likely be at least Gold level if not Platinum. 8)

I'm so encouraged by you saying that Funky.

I'm in Bronze too and mostly I get rushed in one way or another. I'm protoss so I've started to throw down a safety forge at the first sign of aggression and this usually saves me. Then I start my upgrades early and end up being ahead.

Godspal: If you want a practise partner please add me (MilkRain 939). I don't play loads, but I try to play a "normal" game and hardly ever cheese (except for the occasional pylon in opponents base, but if he don't scout he deserves to lose).
And I sure could use some practice against zerg. I'm been roach busted a few times.

Don't really know anything about ZvP but I do know that infestor/broodlords seems unstoppable.

    @VikingErik, love to play ya.
Cheese freezone, just focus on the macro.

Edit: @orizio Ravens/Carriers/Stalkers seem to beat the combo alright. Speaking from experience of getting roflstomped in this regard.

You can play me if you like and I can give you some tips regarding ZvT - Feanor 980. Going on right now.

Sounds great. I definitely slip with unit production.
