    1.5 mivec?? Nope.

Either way, if the engine was sealed, ie spark plugs etc were still fitted then the internals should be fine. Assuming it was working in the first place it could run again.

Might run fine for 2 months and then die suddenly or start taking oil. Corrosion on piston rings, valve guides is quite sure if the engine wasn't sealed (I bet i wasn't). Stay away unless you have no choice.

if it's free and you can easily take it, just take it anwyay, i would. But then again i end up having to do periodic clearout of random ****e i accumulate here. At the very worst you could just end up makin a coffee table out of it and if not there's bound to be a couple of parts of it you could sell, but no much.

I didnt think there was a 1.5 mivec though....

Stick it on adverts.ie with a description and a few snaps and see if anyone makes you an offer.

as said, no such thing as a 1.5 mivec engine,

    1.5 doch maybe, not mivec.

If it was in a shed it can hardly be in bad nick?

    I say take it!

It will be a gen 1 if the air intake out to the left, it will be a gen 2 if its on the right. (when looking at the engine from the front, i.e exhaust manifold side)
