Windows Service Station phone scam

My parents just got a phone call from the "Windows Service Station" on "behalf of Microsoft" based in Manchester, saying that their computer had downloaded 'junk and harmful stuff' and would cause problems in a week or two. It sounded suspicious so we did a search and found this…

Apparently pretty common but haven't heard of it being used in Ireland before.

Do a search here and you will find loads.
Your computers could be riddled with viruses and Microsoft still will never call you.
