Hello,

I have an apartment in Spain which I would like to rent for holiday lets....have been looking for a good site to advertise....does anyone have any suggestions or experience of any of these sites as there are alot and all charge a fee.....thanks.

I dont know where in Spain your apartment is. Neither do I know how many bedrooms, availability of a swimming pool, distance to nearest safe beach and distance to supermarket, proximity to airport, cost of rental, etc etc

I am assuming that it is in one of the holiday resorts. Therefore, you should have no difficulty renting out the place in July and August and perhaps June and September. But, it is the other 8 months that provide the difficulty.

Advertising is not cheap and most advertising to rent out a holiday apartment is pretty useless. You cant beat good word-of-mouth advertising. Provide a good, value-for-money service and you will be well rewarded.

Thanks for your comments......have you had experience of dealing with rental sites....I agree they seem to charge a great deal up front with no guarantee of it being rented.

Also, browse Parenting websites for Holidays & Travel, and send PM's to people who are asking about trips to Spain. (A lot of parenting websites (& Boards.ie !!!) don't allow you to advertise, so sending PM's is the only way you can make contact.
