Seat Ibiza - Rev Issue (Really need help!)

I have a Seat Ibiza 2007 and it's had a weird engine revving issue for a while.

Basically sometimes on deceleration I get a feeling of jumping or sometimes the revs just don't come down very quick.

Also when I bring the car to a stop the revs are moving up/down and it's almost cutting out.

This morning when the engine was cold I gave it a rev and let the revs drop back down again. Each time the revs dropped dangerously low and the engine almost cut out.

Any ideas what this could be? EGR?

That could probably be down to The Throttle Body being dirty & needing a clean. I'm not too sure about the other issue but it's possible that a dirty TB could be the cause for that.

The TB may need re-alignment using software at the garage.

Could be you're mass airflow sensor either.

Vacuum leak? Can you hear any hissing type noise with the bonnet open?

Can't hear any hissing. Hopefully it isn't the MAF :(

I'm going to try and get someone with the vagcom stuff to see if they can do a Throttle Body alignment on the car.

If anyone is up for doing this for me (at a nice price ;) ), let me know!! Thanks
