I want to know who among you here are experiencing battery problems with SGS II? I heard that many people are having complaints with its battery life. Any comment?

Oh I had the same problem, it was an absolute joke. Would unplug the phone a 8am and it would stay in my handbag until about 3pm when I finish work. After sending maybe five messages and making two short call the phone would be dead as a dodo by about 7pm. It's not a 'mobile' phone when it has to be plugged in all the time, may as well have a landline.

The phone battery is known to be poor, but further to that you need to learn how to manage the battery better, turn off stuff you don't need, wifi, bluetooth, gps all eat battery. Widgets updating will eat battery. Struggling for a proper data signal and hopping between mobile phone masts will also drain it. The screen is the biggest killer, set it to the lowest brightness setting and only turn it up when you need to (place a widget on your screen). Avoid a live wallpaper.

If all that fails get Juice Defender. Further than that there's the custom rom route, community made software can have much lighter battery use, but its early days for the GS2. I now get 2 days out of my Galaxy S with a custom rom, was badly struggling to get full day when I first got it.
