Have you ever thought how easy it is to become famous?

Ok, maybe "famous" is the wrong word, but it's pretty easy to just throw something up on the internet nowadays, it could be a short video you make on youtube or something you say on facebook or whatever but if it's enough to make people notice you could find your life changing rapidly. Case in point, was it not Justin Bieber who uploaded his own home made videos to youtube? Now look at him, he went from being completely unheard of to world famous, his life probably rules, thousands of teenage girls want to sleep with him, how could it not?

A lesser example is the story of the kid from Australia who got the best of a bully by slamming him to the ground, when the video found it's way to the internet it had everyone talking and of course everyone wanted to know the identity of the kid and now we know who he is! it's essentially the same thing, you could do anything on the internet, it probably won't take long to garner attention.

Yeah but think equally of the amount of videos put up on youtube which the people dont become famous. It was easy for Justin Bieber, but there are wannabes who try to get famous for years and it never happens

I don't know why so many people hate Bieber, there's far worse celebrities out there that do drugs and stuff, Bieber doesn't do anything wrong, good role model for kids. Anyone who dislikes him is jealous.

Why would someone who dislikes him necessarily be jealous. Surely they would be Jealous of an artist with talent ahead of beiber?
Nothing really against the kid really, it's all business.

Its easy to become famous when you now have a world full of people who think its entertaining to watch some of these viral videos.

I mean if millions upon millions search for a guy getting excited about a double rainbow, then what is fame?

I considered trying it. The famous on-line thing, I mean. Posted a few silly videos on YouTube back in 2009. They were great craic at the time, but only a small group of my friends ever watch them.

I take myself too seriously though. I couldn't make myself do anything outrageous enough to make myself famous on the Internet. Also, the idea of 4Chan getting their claws into my life is a bit off-putting...

Must be great to probably have made a million quid from a country and not even know they exist.
I for one welcome our Bieber overlord.
