As a newbie to the Horse Racing scene,

can anyone offer any tips/advice on reading form?

i bought the racing post today at punchestown and i might aswell have been reading quantum physics

what are the first things a punter must look at on order to see whos worth a flutter?

what are the tell tail signs of a champion horse to a nag?

ah jeses i'm off to bed so don't have time for long reply......sorry

GOOGLE will help you out more than me.......there is a instruction in the racing post explaining what all the figures etc stand for.People on here will all have different ways of reading form......
you first need to understand weights and handicap mark.i would suggest sign up to attheraces.co.uk,there is a form research section on the site where you can enter any horse.By doing this you'll see how the horses handicap changes depending on his recent run

1 part of the reacing post to look out for is the 'signpost' section, around page 50,shows you all the recent stats on trainers, jockeys etc,
