    Hey
I just noticed some spots on images from my canon 550d
There was some dust on the sensor so i used a rocket blower
and that seemed to sort the problem but now iv noticed these,
they are almost like tiny droplets as they are perfectly circular.
It doesnt seem to be dust and the camera hasnt been in contact
    with any liquid.

Any ideas as to the problem , they are only really visable around f20,
the following are images taken with a pinhole lenscap so its def not dirt on
    the lens

Any ideas welcome , does the sensor need a proper clean , if so where can i get it done bar sending it back to canon ?

    Cheers

Berminghams and Conns will clean the sensor but they will be expensive, probably 70 euro for a wet clean.

If you call in to these guys http://www.dml.ie/ they will probably clean it for free. Also they can supply sensor cleaning materials.
At f20 dust spots will be very prominent.

Not sure if DML are keen on cleaning entry level DSLR's for free but they will clean 40/50D's and 5D's upwards.
I had mine cleaned there free just a few weeks back. Himself brought our two cameras in and got one wet cleaned and the other just needed a dry clean.

Go in and talk nicely to them, very decent bunch of people.

I bought my Cleaning Kit from DML at a show. It included a Sensor Scope & Vacuum as well as the Wet Clean Swabs & Fluid. At the time it only cost me as much as a Wet Clean would have if I had taken it into one of the shops. Maybe look at the big picture and buy some kit from DML and get them to show you how to use it. You will then be set up for years.
