Has anyone else noticed that when using this the delivery tends to arrive at an ungodly hour (before 7am), the driver seems to almost dropkick the door in also. I'm glad for cutting down on delivery costs but if this is the price, so to speak, I'm not so sure. This has happened several times so it's not an isolated instance.

Mine are always delivered by An Post (my usual carrier) and it is early but not before 7 am early! Usually it is between 8-9 a.m. What you are experiencing is a bit excessive. My problem is that if I'm still asleep or not home, they will ring my neighbour's door to leave it with them, which I'm sure is annoying to her, but she never complains. I have asked nicely for the packages to be sent back to the depot, because I don't mind going to pick it up (but I do mind them bothering my neighbour) but it continues. What if my neighbour and I did not get along well or she left for an extended holiday?

I hope they don't leave your packages at your door. That would definitely be an invitation to steal it for some. You may want to alert Amazon if they do, as they have a very strict contract with Amazon.co.uk about delivery and length of time to holding for pick-up before returning the item to Amazon.co.uk (it's 3 days btw, not what is on the delivery attempt slip.) Even if it is just the early time that is an inconvenience, send an email to Amazon.co.uk and tell them it is being delivered so early. They are truly very customer service-oriented and they have fixed things that I thought was above and beyond the call of duty.

Super Saver delivery is always delivered via An Post for me anyway, and as such comes with normal post. Sometimes (depending on the item and value), Amazon will use a courier. It would be very strange to see a courier delivering at 7AM though.
