Is it a lift pump or an injector pump you're after?

The lift pump will be here and generally available to order from any tractor dealer.

The injector pump is possibly still on the tractor and is probably best to be rebuilt by a specialised company. I am sure someone in Donegal does them. I can recommend someone in Mayo if you're stuck.

Yeah got the number for that guy in ardara from a mate! Done a good job on it too!
Your right she is gravity fed but i think maybe the pre-force models had a lift pump! not sure though.
Now i discovered that my diesel tank is more of a sieve than a tank! Anyone got one lying about??? New ones are a bit steep for my pocket at the minute!

hard to get parts for them 4000's, there a place in kells, i think they called connedys or some name similiar to that. iv the same problem with my tank but what if done was to get a half inch copper pipe about 2 inchs long, make a few cuts on it with a junior hacksaw and insert onto the outlet pipe instead of the gauze. the idea of this is that the dirt settles at bottom of tank and the clean diesel high up is being used.. works a treat, get back to me iv u cant follow me!!!

Its Connachy in Kells I think. Also burkes of cornascribe, tandragee have some 2nd spares, brilliant for new spares also.

I want to add power steering to my 4000 and like what agriline.ie have. The problem is that I have a Quickie loader and I am not sure if the brackets will foul the ram when fitted. It will be a close thing but the only way I can be sure is to find a tractor with the kit fitted and measure the distance between the ram and block at various points. I can easily modify the bracket where it is attached below the fuel tank but not at the front where it is bolted on beneath the dynamo. If you have the power steering kit I might be able to go and measure up. I am in Co Louth

Check this link for details, it is the English site and is available from the same company near Balbriggan, €300 +VAT on the Irish site. A few hours will fit provided your loader brackets are not in the way. The picture shows a 5000 but the 4000 is similar. They have it in stock in Balbriggan and there is one available in Tipperary on ebay. My neighbour has it on a 3000 and it is perfect, he uses the loader for sand and gravel. I load 4x4 round bales of hay with a loader extended to build them 3 high on trucks. I'd get it in the morning if I knew it would clear the loader brackets.

Got the kit yesterday and have it fitted today. Without the loader it would have been a simple job. I had to cut and realign the bracket next the cab and still have to take a piece out near the the front mounting point to allow for clearance when the left wheel is on high ground. I had a spin around the yard and am delighted with it. Won't have the loader on for a few weeks to get the real benefit but I know it is perfect. Should have gotten it years ago.
