The million pound drop

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this programme, unless I missed it somewhere.
Anyway last Saturday's show was quite riveting, I thought. Two brothers put over 300,000 pounds (of real physical cash) on a guess that Los Angeles was more populated than New York, and watched in horror as this life-changing sum of money literally went down the drain!
For anyone watching, it was just another game-show, but for the two brothers concerned the experience will probably haunt them and those close to them for many years.
I wouldn't normally get too excited about any TV programme, but I am looking forward to the next show, which is next Saturday on Ch. 4

It's good enough but they draw the drops out way too long!

I like it but it is very drawn out. Those two that even considered LA had more people than NY deserved to lose the money. It was kinda funny!

I laughed at the sheer stupidity of the woman who got the Bohemian Rhapsody question wrong the week before last. 900k gone and all because she didn't think about it.

The question about executed Queens was amusing, at least they only a small amount on Victoria. That they put any on was worrying though.

It was which word came first in the song. She immediately went for Gallileo as it was a word she recognised from the song. I was surprised the guy on there with her didn't intervene.
