Issue viewing pictures on HTC Desire HD

I got a HD about 2 months ago and its brilliant. I mainly use it for internet and apps i have a work phone for calls and texts. I took a few pictures the other day about 25 and when i go into the gallery to view them its takes a lifetime to swipe from one picture to the next. Is there any reason its acting like this?

Tick USB debugging in Settings Applications USB debugging. This will also allow GPS to start working properly. Not sure if this is needed in Gingerbread. Testing atm
