same as any cz, great value for money, but seeing as you have a 223 already maybe a .22 would be better, not as flat as the .17 but brilliant for bunnys as its so quiet with subsonic rounds,

Plus ammo 3 times if not 4 cheaper aswell. Haven't said that, CZ 17 HMR is a briliant rifle, very accurate and flat shooting,(compare with .22).I would agree that since 223 is in the house already .22 would probably be the better option, couse you only going to use it on rabbits max anyways.

Well in that case you woun't regret getting cz 17 hmr, know it from my personal expierence, had a Varmint version before it was replaced with 223. Great rifle. By the way there's thread going on 17 HMR VS 22WMR. You might get some useful info as well. It,s about 10 threads below.

i had the 452 varmint model in 17hmr myself. it was a deadly little gun.
i was looking at a 455 thumbhole a while ago. if i ever buy another rimfire that'll be the one

Would cheap .223 ammo offer a solution to your problem, should be plenty good for rabbits! Because at €17ish for 50 rounds the hmr is a bit on the expensive side for plinking etc! That said I would love to get one myself!

My cz455 will be in the rfd's hands soon, and then MINE:) can't wait,I had initially ordered the 453 but he called and said if I would wait a couple of months,he would have the new one. SO exited now, just getting the bobs together and I'll be paying him a visit.

i changed from the 22 to the CZ 17HMR recently and its a savage round love the flat shooting and the extra range
its more expensive at €15 for 50 but i try no to think about it :D

Seen one of these in Stakelums lovely stock on them barrel is fairly beefy too.
Trigger seems sweeter than other CZ's also
