Do the mobile broadband providers give you a free trial period so that you can test out their product before committing to it?

From the above looks like o2 should be the best however when I tested an old sim the signal was very poor. Also tested 3 and that was also bad, a neighbour barely gets a signal with vodafone so that leaves meteor.

That area is dead flat, ultra crap mobile territory, even for phone calls I would wager.

Try fixed wireless like Airwire or Lighthouse instead.

Airwire are coming out on Tuesday to see if they can get a signal, lighthouse tried last week but no joy, I also contacted bay networks but they seem to be a one man band and have yet to get back to me.

Did you look into the satellite option as a last resort?

Seems to be very dear, equipment and installation costs about 600 so I'd rather have a go at digging up the road and getting upc out to the gaff.
