Dark comic and graphic novel art

I'm planning on getting a sleeve tattoo which will be based around a post-apocalyptic theme. I have been collecting ideas from various comics and graphic novels such as Marvel zombies, Dark tower, Art of top cow (compilation) and the Walking dead. Any other suggestions of graphic novels or comics worth looking at?

For striking dark images, you can't go far wrong with Hellboy.

There's a lot of Hellboy pics I think would look great as a tattoo.
