    hey,
a friend of mine went for a hip operation 2 months ago. it turned out after an x ray that the hip had come apart. she had to be operated on again the second time. this put her out of work for a further 2 months and has caused much distress. just wondering are their solicitors who specialise in this area of law because she is taking a case against the hse?

Are you alleging negligence on the part of the HSE or just jumping on the bandwagon?

Who (consultant) or what (corporate body, HSE, hospital etc.) did anything wrong?

Is there anything to suggest the operation was done negligently? A case like this will require an expert opinion that the operation was not done correctly. This will most likely require a report from a non domestic based consultant. It can get pricey.

OP Forum Charter. This is a serious matter. Go to a solicitor .... or have the subject contact one.
