    Hello.

I'm leaving my job voluntarily in next 2 weeks. My reasons are I dislike the profession and find it to hard, the cost of traveling is going too high and I'm stressing out over job.
So basically I know I could be disqualified for 9 weeks etc but here my points.
    - My job have work for me so it could be hard for me of SW cintact them straight away.
    - I do intend to leave country at end of June as I 95% have job in UK then.

Basically my question is can I claim SW for few weeks I'm unemployed here and if not is there any where I can go for financial support until I am eligible as I have a car loan and bills to pay. I know I've got me in a mess here but any help is appreciated thanks.

Only thing I could suggest is to put up with your job until the new one comes through in the UK?
Might be better to be a bit stressed with some income than without.
Hard to think that you are going to be eligible for any assistance under the circumstances that you have outlined.

Only thing is I've put notice in already so that option isn't available unfortunately

I think you may have a serious problem - my understanding is that you cannot claim JSA for 9 weeks after leaving a job voluntarily - you say you will go to the UK in late June which is roughly 9 weeks from now.
As I understand it you may be left without any income till you leave.
Can you rescind the notice you gave ?

ya i think you will have a problem for sure, my mate did something similar and they would not give it to him it seems they are getting stricter all the time, try anyway you may be lucky with the sw office you use.

Can I ask what format do Social Welfare follow like what checks do they do etc.

I told my former employers to be that I leaving to go abroad and would've preferred to keep them out of this (in terms of not wanting them to know)

Also, Would I be better off so not claiming for week or 2 and then going up and saying job fell through in UK and claim?
Can I also ask has anyone ever been disqualified for the 9 weeks and in general what are the Social Welfare officers like? Are they very strict or could you be lucky to meet some who just pass everything through etc.
    Any help is appreciated thanks.

The social welfare office will send a form to your employer asking why you left your job. if you have said that you are leaving your job to go abroad, then you will probably be disallowed altogther as you will not be considered as genuinely seeking work in this country

Also quick question if I got my employer to avoid saying I left voluntarily would that help?
What could I ask employer and is it possible they could get in trouble?
