    Hello lads...

Mad one here. Pulled up alongside an 08 blue Audi this evening in Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. On the back window was a big San Diego Chargers decal. Before the lights had changed to green I only had time to check that the driver was in fact a Charger fan.

Is that guy on here?, anyone know him?. Would be cool to touch base as he would be Charger fan no. 5 that I know of/have met.

    Tx, L91.

Not desperate, there are 4 of us now. We've become good friends through following the Bolts. Great to have a common interest that v few have round these parts. The 4 of us plus others around Europe are planning a trip to NYC for the Jets game. The more the merrier I say.

Ah but are they 'real' Charger fans or members of the 'LT bandwagon brigade'?. Not that I have anything against that ofcourse, we need all the fans we can get. 2 of us are fans since early 80s so we know more bad times than good!.

Well to be fair its hard for people not to become bandwagon especially if they decide to follow an NFL team in the last 10 years. As a Pats fan I know many bandwagon who turned out to be be solid fans sure I hear the bandwagon tag all the time and I have been a Pats fan since 1991 :D. The fans you need to be worried about are the gobsh1tes who know fook all about the sport or their team but yet cause arguments or appear from under the rock when they win.

The 14 I know I would consider real fans. And at least 6 or 7 of them are too young to have followed them pre LT. Don't forget LT was a bolt from 2001 owards etc etc.

Don't get me wrong as I said we need as many as we can get!!. You're right though the eejits knowing F all and appearing when the team is doing well can go jump.

Yeah, cos obviously if they have a sticker on their car, they must be real fans.

Just kidding. I've only ever met another Colts fan while in the state of Indiana, and I'd be curious enough if I saw a Colts sticker on a car in Dublin. Obviously not curious enough to write a gay-ass love letter on boards, but still... :P

Ha ha, good un. That's it though, imagine seeing COLTS across a car windscreen in front of you, not a little decal on the side, this thing was on the windscreen and the lad driving wasn't American. Had a quick exchange, he was as surprised as I was.

    Go Bolts!!.

Yep, wrong. Never went to SD in the summer, always football season.

On a similar note, I saw a car in Galway this morning with a Buffalo Bills car flag coming out of the window, something like this:

First time I've seen any mention of the NFL in Galway.
