I'm not sure if this is the best forum for this but I did see a car like this for sale in another thread in this forum (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=71005579).

Anyway, it's a car that was driven until about 7 years ago when it failed its NCT over a dodgy handbrake. New rear brake calipers cost too much so while waiting to find used ones the car was just left sitting.

Rather than send it to the crusher I thought someone might be able to use it. Keys and logbook are available but it'll have to be trailered away as I think it's a few years since the engine was even started.

    Hi,

I'd be very interested in having a look at this.

But is it not in Tipperary according to the ad? I've no interest in it but I can collect it and store it for a while if anyone wants to save it, i'm in county Cork.

Reading the OP's post, I don't think the car in the ad is Famous Belgian's

    OK so....

    OP:

    Who owns the car?

    Where is it located?

I appreciate the interest shown so far. I'll PM the people who've shown interest with the details but in summary:
    - it is my late mother's car
    - it is in Cavan

I really need a boardsie to slap me down when I start getting excited by yet another car :p

I've always loved the 'type 4' shape and in my humble opinion the Saab / Fiat versions are nicest. Time to make some space (am considering a stacking system :p)
