Hi - when we moved into to our 6 years ago we furnished it with second hand donations and cheap but functional furniture (times were hard even then!) But now we are hoping to make some improvements and buy new furniture. My wife is getting really excited but is not sure about her 'eye' for design/layout etc. But enjoying…

If there was one interior design book you could recommend, what would it be? I want to give her some encouragement and buy a few.
