Syncing Google Contacts TO The Cloud

Basically what the title says. How do I sync my Contacts to my gmail account contacts on my PC? Like what I'm looking to is what I'm used to doing on Android so much and that's saving a new contact and having it sync to my Gmail contact list automatically. Obviously it's not going to be the same as Android is more intergrated with Google. But are there any Cydia apps etc. that syncs the contact to the cloud the minute you save it or even is this even possible? Thanks. :)

Is this what you are looking for:

I use it for Contacts and works great.

Yea, the above works pretty seamlessly. Also moved from Android, and thought the loss of contact and gmail sync would haunt me, but seems to be no issues at all once set up as an exchange account.

No if only somebody can come up with a work around for the loss of locale!

BUMP. Still haven't found a solution. I'm pretty much looking for a way to sync my contacts to gmail, like Android does but with iOS. I've tried the Exchange thing but that didn't work for me.

I used to use Android for a year or so, so most of my contacts are on gmail, but there are about 50 new ones that are just on my iPhone, nowhere else and I want to sync them to Google incase I lose my iPhone. Being safe. :-)

Is there a way for a new contact to automatically sync to google the second I've added it on my phone, like Android too?

You must of set it up wrong cos mine syncs as soon as I go to my email

Go to settings-mail and delete the account.
Add new account and tap exchange, enter your email address for the name and username and then the password. Tap next, server is m.google.com tap next again and it should verify it. Make sure you have sync contacts enabled, when it asks, tap keep contacts and next time ya refresh the mail it will be setup

Thanks a lot! Seemed to get a lot of my contacts to sync up. :D

Although there are a few that haven't seemed to sync up (a few hours later by now). I think I'll just do the rest manually. Any chance you know how to get a CSV from the iPhone to my PC so I can add it to Gmail? :)

Btw Cork45, yes I was using exchange. I think it may have just been the contacts I was looking for (they are still not there now).
