Did a pile of motorway driving over the last couple of weeks. What the hell is it with Passat Turbo Dayyysil owners?

Have they taken over from BMW owners as the greatest **** on the road? Outside lane hogging, tail gating and my own pet hate front fog lights on in the middle of the (sunny!!) afternoon. Eeeejits.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

You better stay out of the way. Their cars are very, very fast.

There's just a hell of a lot of them around these days, there must be none left in the uk now.

all that power and torque does things to your head.

Could be a case of passat envy on your part too :D

We need TDi power to keep the planet rotating!

If i had to drive a passat (which i do when i'm not driving the beemer:D) i'd want to get off the road as fast as possible aswell! its the only place you can drive a passat fast anyway cos theres no bends, or bumps on the road.

    Snooze.

[insert lazy generalisation about car owners here]*

*Not just about TDI cars but also the insult to the Beemer drivers, besides I'm an Audi driver and Jeremy Clarkson [he who knows all] thinks we're all cocks so sorry to disappoint the BMW and Passat drivers here! ;)

But it also depends on the number of red letters. Two, and they can stay in the overtaking lane all day apparantly. Even if not moving very very fast. Its in the Rules of the Road.

the power is generally noted as 'unreal' by those who have been in one, or who are lucky enough to own these performance behomeths

Even if you've never driven one you know by the amount of smoke coming out them that there's serious power in them.

Been on the road a good bit myself this weekend and the amount of Eeeejits on the road in general amazes me, and the funny thing is most of the issues I had were with Hyundai drivers ?! They are the new TDi black death, darkside wafflers for me, wouldn't want to mess with those yokes..

Didn't you know there's the slow lane, the fast lane and then the TDi lane. Best to stay out of their way, for they travel at speeds incomprehensible to the rest of us plebs.

I have a beemer, so I can make lazy prejudicial comments about other car owners while taking the piss out of beemers. I draw the line at Audi owners out of my deep sense of compassion however :)

Seriously the dayyysil turbo injukchuns on them Passats is something to behold when they come screeching up yer arse with more smoke billowing out of them than a massey. I am going to heed all the good advice on this thread and stay well clear of them, I know my place and it's in the rear view mirror of these beasts!

I think we'll leave it here. The RS4 tdi thread has enough tdidily jokes for one forum:D
