Hi, just wondering if anyone can recommend any online child care courses? I’ve been looking into http://childcaretrainingcourses.ie/ and they seem good. Has anyone completed a course with these guys?

    http://www.ncna.ie/ - cost 125 per module I think.

The government are promoting this for people working in the sector to upskill.

Hi MonkeyTail - did you find any courses?

I have FETAC Level 6 childcare qualification and was looking to do a Level 7 and even a Level 8. I have looked at a distance learning course at NUI Galway but their course is almost €3,000 a year for 4 years (that's quite alot of money, what you could do with over €12k! :) )

Could anyone recommend any Universities in Northern Ireland or the UK where I could do the same distance learning course and prehaps the cost would be much cheaper? I have searched but it's difficult to find them!

Or could anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks :)

    Hi there,

I have also been researching online childcare courses. I work full time in a kindergarten in Dubai and I'm hoping to do a FETAC Level 6 course online to qualify me to work in Ireland when I come home. I was most interested in the courses run by CMIT and Chevron but haven't been able to find much feedback from anyone who has done/is doing the course in either to decide which one would be better?!
